Marcus has had his Test Results back for MDR1 and we are delighted to anounce the results show as follows: Genotype N/N  (+/+) 

he is unaffected and a non-carrier of the mutation in the MDR1 Gene that has been shown to cause hypersensitivity towards certain drugs such as ivermectin.

In order to establish a nucleus of MDR1 free collies Marcus's stud fee will be reduced by half to any N/N (+/+)  bitch upon proof of certificate.

 This is a real breakthrough for the Rough Collie in general and especially as Marcus has just sired his Ist litter who are now 6 weeks of age and doing well (see our pups page)

Marcus is also 6 week clear of Cea/Pra    Hips 4/3
